Ladies and gentlemen,

I'm a Marine and have an understanding of how we are task organized. I would be happy to answer any questions anyone has about the Marines.

I have a question for you all though. How are GMOs task organized? It would appear to me that they fall under battalion sized elements and one per Reg and Div? Is that right?

Please help me out here.

Typically, each grunt batallion has a Bn surgeon with 2-3 mids (PA/HM-IDC) and 40+10 corpsmen, depending on what phase workup.
Regiment rates a Regimental surgeon with a similar entourage.
Division rates one, but their TO is different for support staff for whatever voodoo magic they cook up at POMI, so it's possible/likely they have multiple MD/DO and mids in the shop.

I can't speak authoritatively on Wing or Logistics, but based on playing with their teams on joint ops, its fairly similar.
