Hi everyone,
I wanted to take the time to introduce myself and ask a question if you don't mind. I am a senior in high school, and I have become deeply interested in the medical field and I feel that it is my vocation/calling. I find it amazing how doctors have the ability to help and even cure people of their ailments and are able to do it with out breaking any moral values that I believe in. Right now, I am interested in surgery since it's the most interesting thing I think of in the medical field. My screen name doesn't have a story to it, I saw the movie with Michael J Fox and I enjoyed it, but the main reason behind it is that my favorite teacher called me that one day and it just stuck with me. The 745 is just a favorite number, no idea why.
Anyways, I do have a question that would be great if anyone could answer. I've noticed that the forum is split up between areas of expertise and education such as pre med, high school, graduate and residents. I was wondering if younger people (IE: high school/college freshmen) are allowed to ask questions in those areas or if we have to remain where we are?
thanks for reading, glad to meet you
