I will be beginning my second year for my undergrad next week. I am dead set on applying to vet school(s) so I can finish my undergrad and the following fall begin vet school (if all goes as planned and I get accepted to one.) I know I need to take the GRE's but am unsure how soon I need to take it? How many times I need to take it? Any advice on studying for it? I know I have a little while with me only beginning my second year of undergrad but I plan for EVERYTHING and try to be somewhat prepared. 🙂 Any help is greatly appreciated!

I took mine kinda last minute (due to finances). I only took them twice. I would definitely not underestimate the math section if I were you. Unless you have an engineering background, it's harder than it seems. I heard it was just algebra level and I only moderately studied before I took it the first time. I would wait to take it until end of your junior year of undergrad, and plan on taking it at least twice. Just my two cents. Remember VMCAS is due like end of October so try to time it for then. I also studied with GRE for Dummies book and turned out fine. lol
