What you guys are talking about for "Why Georgetown?"

I am thinking location and curriculum. I don't have anything else to talk about.

In terms of length, how long should it be ideally?

I also am interested in what Georgetown has to offer. Can anyone help who goes there or who knows a lot about the program?

What is up with all of this asking about personal statements? Basically what you guys are saying is: "Hey Everyone, what did you put in your Gtown essay, so I can put the same thing in mine!"

Thats why they call it a PERSONAL statement. Either you have reasons for applying there or you don't.

you could just say that there isn't a particular reason why I applied but living in DC is interesting.

We are not asking for specific details. Just a general topic to talk about(e.g. location, curriculum).

Besides, why would anyone want to copy someone else's response? That would not help his/her application at all.

Anyway, thanks for your response.

Tell them you're a huge Patrick Ewing and Alan Iverson fan and you need to go there for that reason.
