I know there are a bunch of SMP threads, so i apologize if this has already been asked but I cant find it so....
I was put in a "competitive pool" to be re-reviewed in April even despite my 26R mcat, but talked to Dr Myers and suggested that maybe they should wait for my new mcat score from april, as im pretty sure i wouldn't have made it out of hte competitive pool with a 26 when the cut off is 27. In any case, the MCAT is april 22, results come out june 22nd-ish, so im just wondering how realistic are my chances at that point? arent their admissions going to be pretty much closed by then? I know from the SMP website that they keep a "few" spots open for people retaking the mcat, but in all reality, what are the chances? has anyone gotten in with similar circumstances? Just to be complete, my gpa is 3.58, and my ECs are competitive.
