Guaranteed Seat at Undergrad Med Schoo, Mention in application/interview?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
OP, I'm not sure how you can phrase that into a positive light. To me that just sounds like you're looking for prestige.

Don't bring it up. You're going to sound like those people who try to get a job but reiterate that they don't "need the job." Well, uh, you're still here trying to get it, so I guess you actually do? But they might prefer giving it to someone who does "need" it. Either way, you won't come across as likable if you say something like that.

If you're already accepted into a medical school then why are you going to spend another year applying to others?

If you don't want to go to yours that's fine. But don't say "Oh I'm already in somewhere, but I'm too good for them."
Don't be a pretentious d-bag.

I think your ECs should show the dedication to medicine not an acceptance to another school

This user is clearly demonstrating the maturity and intuitive knowledge of human interaction required to be a physician.

Go ahead, mention it. The school that interviews you will probably start seething with jealousy that another school dared to give you an acceptance before they did. They'll probably throw in a full merit scholarship just to pry you away from your inferior home school.

Damn. Should have hit the quote button on that one.

I really don't know how you would phrase it without being a humble brag, so no...
