ishould be asking the same question like you too..!!
i guessed bout' 40% on CDP Math...and got 18....... problems that i thought i knew how to solve i get some of them wrong and those word problems that i guessed i got the majoriy correct idk howd that happen....
on the real DAT its a lot lot harder!!! so guessing wouldnthelp much..
OK so if you guessed in 60% of the questions, then you guessed 24 questions which the law of averages says you should get 6 rightthat means that you should get 22 questions right in total which converts to ???
On Crack DAT Math, I didn't guess that much, I was getting 21-23. On the real DAT, I also didn't guess that much but got a 19. Real DAT is harder because there are more word problems.
A friend of mine tried out guessing on ALL the questions on a couple CDMath tests and ended up with a 14 most of the time. So basically, a 17 is very do-able.
I would go through and tackle the ones you know how to do... and make an educated guess on the ones that you are not sure about. if you are running out of time, like i did, guess!!!
I finished QR(no guessing) in 28 minutes and I was expecting 30( But I ended up with 23). If I checked couple times,I can catch the mistakes I made(but I was super bored and tired at that time).
