Hi, I'm french dental surgeon and I need to know if you learn implantology in your cursus and if you know this procedure you can see on this video (sorry for my poor english...)

hmm.. from what ive heard through the years from many OS/dentists, you dont learn anything like this in school. at least in dental school. yea you may place a few implants (although schools are getting more and more in tune with it).

guided surgery is neat, but the problem is there is so much technology involved with it that a dental school just wont have everything needed to teach you. not to mention its not really a quick procedure (in terms of prep time and such).

now i dont know what they teach you if you want to specialize, but nowadays anyone can and will place an implant. and the more you do, the more you'll learn, and eventually you'll end up skipping the stints and guides and you'll know where to place your implants (with the use of expensive technology).

thats just my experience.
