I am crying rightnow🙁(, i just checked my application for AADSAS after they had caculated my GPA , they wrote i TOOk 18 credits in fall , but i only took 15 so i call them and ask them what happened and guss what?
i enterd one of my course twice the guy is nth i can do
i was like you guys had to varifiy it
he said you applictaion is ready to be sent and nth we can do

i really don't think it's worth crying for. Calm down call your dental schools. I'm sure they won't think that you're taking the same classes in the fall. If you're crying right now I hope you make it through dental school.

I am not sure I understand what you are saying. You called and they said there is nothing they can do about the fact that you entered a course twice? Making 18 instead of 15 credits?
If you have not submitted it, you can still change it. If you have submitted the final application they will notice the error and ask you to make a formal change. You can probably fill out the required paperwork to make this formal change now. Keep in mind that it takes 6-8 weeks to process your application after its last edit.

As long as it gets to your schools before August you are fine--don't worry so much.

Calm down... things will be ok. Dental schools will see you have the same class twice and see it is a mistake... most likely they will just ask you about it in the interview. This wont destroy your chances of gaining acceptence.

Like the others said, any person of reasonable intelligence (and probably those with none at all) who looks at your application will know you didn't take Basket Weaving 101 and Basket Weaving 101 in the same quarter. Plus, I can't imagine that extra Basket Weaving class affects your GPA greater than 0.02 points (3.50 vs 3.48).

If you would have asked more questions instead of freaking out you would have gotten better information from them.

I am in the same situation you are in, but here's the process:

You sent in your application and it has an error in it. AADSAS does NOT change anything in your application. They can submit a ticket to the verification department as a notation on your application (a heads up of a problem).

The verification department will check over your application for errors such as these and change the errors before your application is sent out. Keep in mind it will take 4-6 weeks to for the verification dept. to send it out because they are processing applications in the order they were submitted. You may not see a change for some time, depending on when you submitted.

To make a long story short, contact AADSAS, have them put in a ticket, and before your application is sent out, the problem will be fixed by the verification department when they review your transcripts. Relax, everything will be OK, and This system is FAR better than it was last year.

Seriously...you need to relax. Go running or swimming or something.

The guy from AADSAS can do nothing for you. He's not lying to you. If he has submitted the ticket, you're fine. When the verification department gets your file, they will fix it BEFORE they send it out. The guy from AADSAS has done his job, and he's not the one fixing it. It is the verification dept. and they are contracted out. Just relax.

Calm down. Even the best of us make mistakes! And some mistakes you have to pay for dearly. But yours will be corrected by AADSAS as if never happened!

I once had a class appear twice on my transcript too (since I actually took it twice in the same semester . . . It could be viewed as unfair, but I got twice the credits and the university allowed it provided I did all coursework for both)

Anyway, noone ever asked me about it. They never even noticed it to my knowledge.

First off, take a deep breath. Next, place everything into perspective. You made a simple, little error that ultimately means nothing. Schools look to your transcripts, not AADSAS, for final verification of your academic record. Furthermore I am sure dental schools are aware of the many things that can go wrong, and do, with AADSAS and their application. You are far from screwed and everything concerning this matter will undoubtedly play out in your favor.

I am better no more mental break down what everrrrrrrrr, but I make sure to call them again.
Thanks alot for making me feel better and for those who questioned me for my freaking out , if this was the only mistake on my application i would be much more relaxed i have one more mistake on my personal statement so i wanted everything else be perfect but i cant help it any more
