So I was at the 1/12 interview and I just got my acceptance...anyone else hear from them? They want a deposit by 2/1/13 which is less than two weeks away! That's insane! Just a heads up... they sent me an e-mail to check my GW supplemental application which was where my decision was....

I was accepted as well! Congrats! My main concern is the cost of living in DC. I'm not from the area so I'm not sure what the best option is. Do you have any insight on that? And I also have 2 more interviews on the day they want the deposit. So frustrating!

Hey KnightGirl, the cost of living in DC will be high, but less compared to say NYC or maybe some cities in Cali or Florida. So, it depends on what you're comparing it to. But if you think you could see yourself living in DC I think it would be worth it.
I got accepted to GW and I put down my deposit last week, but I have an interview with Miami in February. And I'm waiting to hear back from a few more schools. The only reason I wouldn't go to GW would be because it is too close to home for me.

Also, I'm not sure if you could get a deadline extension. To GW I imagine that would sound like you don't want to go there. But it might be possible.

I've been trying to find a Facebook group for GW's DPT class of 2016, but it appears to be non-existent.
I want to start finding some people who are definitely going this fall. That way we can start getting in contact with one another and begin to figure out housing/all that is DC before August rolls around.
If you know you're going or probably going, then you can either reply to this (or other threads I'm about to spam) or PM me or maybe make the Facebook group yourself? I tried the last option but it told me to invite people to the group...which I am currently unable to do.
