Idk this was years ago but I listed it and it was useful. It was a nice answer to those questions of “tell us about a time you did something hard” or something to that effect.
Just be sure to be honest and respectful about your time on the council. I was very clear that our goal was to teach and lead the student body, not to penalize or play police officer

Yes, there are many students that served in this manner, including a few that served after receiving IA sanctions for their own conduct. Agreeing with advice from @The Knife & Gun Club .
