I just read that Hahnemann is closing. I was wondering how that affects Drexel’s ophthalmology residency program. I feel so bad for all of the residents and fellows at that hospital.

Drexel doesnt have an ophthalmology residency anymore because of this closure, all of the residents are being relocated across the country.

I am one of the chief residents in Creighton University:
We are proud to announce that we have opened 6 new spots in Internal medicine, to accommodate a few of these residents from Hahnemann hospital.
We understand the difficulty of this situation and are committed to making this process as easy as possible - no ERAS application required, we can Skype/zoom with you. No funding/licensure required .
We've reached out to the Program Director and coordinator as well.
