First time I've seen this type of Masters program where they seem to spend the first year as a pre-med post-bacc formal curriculum and spend the second year taking Biochemistry, Physio, Virology, MCB and histo.
What's another confusing part is they will give preference for students who have "a background in the basic sciences" and "academic credentials for admission to dental and medical school" preference when their first year is composed of the basic sciences. They give preference to students who have done all the dental/med school pre-reqs to retake the basic sciences?
I am curious to know if anyone has gotten accepted as well. I applied but had to wait for MCAT scores. I didnt think the program was very popular, especially with it being so expensive this day in age.
I thought the curriculum was interesting also, but I need the enhancement in sciences so I figured it was a good fit.
