Ok, I am SERIOUSLY scare right now. I did my step 2CS today, but I didn't use soap to wash my hand.

Is this a major problem. Can I fail based on this?

Dont be a ******. Of course not. Youll fail because you didnt take a good enough history or write a good enough note, note because you get one mark off for "patient interaction" one category out of 25. Sheesh.

Forget soap, I didn't even wash my hands for the first 4 patient encounters, was unable to finish my first note or get full history from first patient and still passed. Like Rikkye said there's more to passing CS than washing hands with soap. Just relax, I'm sure you did fine.

Im pretty sure if you forget to wash your hands all together, that you fail that room automatically regardless of your patient encounter. But not relevant to the OP's situation
