I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a safe and wonderful Happy New Year! I hope 2011 is a great year for pharmacy. Wonder what changes await us. Anyone have any great plans tonight? I always just stay home and watch some fireworks. Take care!🙂

Hey

Happy new years to you, and everyone else reading this!
I'm planning on staying at home, as usual, and watch the fireworks as well with my family, which is what we always do 🙂

I'll be in my apartment, watching the ball drop by myself...

I just hope I can find a job in 2011, although every day brings with it an ever-increasing possibility that I will never work as a pharmacist again. 🙁 It's been 9 months and I'm no closer to finding a job now than I was then.

I honestly believe that I was kicked out not only to make room for the newly graduated son of a department head, but also to destroy my career and shove me out of the profession as well. 👎

I also wish people who see me out in public would refrain from asking me about it. Do these same people also ask someone who's getting a divorce about that, or ask someone who's going through infertility treatment if they're pregnant yet, etc. etc. etc.? I have been told by people who have experienced those things that the answer is yes.

Nevermind. I was going to say something but I will refrain.

Best of luck to you in 2011.

I was at the mall today and saw a woman who works in a department that's located next to the pharmacy, and she said that the management in her department is being replaced by inexperienced @$$hats too. She'd jump ship in a minute, but her family needs her insurance - which as of today has gone to a plan so bad it's almost worthless.

She had wondered why she hadn't seen me.
