Your post mentions interesting words - "lack of contentment" & "worn out & unhappy in their jobs".
I'm not in your position, but there are lots of reasons for being unhappy in a job...and a routine, hospital pharmacist who is confined to inputing orders and checking pyxis fils or IV's might very well be unhappy for a number of valid reasons.
Likewise, a pharmacist who has a difficult or irregular schedule will most likely get worn out & unhappy. Sadly, many managers or supervisors who have scheduling responsibilities use that as a means of power over people - which in itself is an interesting topic for discussion.
But...lack of contentment, at least as I see it, often reflects someone's life - not just their job. Since both are so inter-related in pharmacy, if part of your life is unhappy, that will often reflect in the other parts.
But -the good news is...your coworkers don't dictate how you need to feel. Positive, optimistic people are infectious. So - be that positive, optimistic person. Or - as Down suggested - get over it, get out of it or change it.
Good luck!
