Does anyone know the specifics of the start date, orientation date? Also anyone receive anything (email, letter) with contract, etc?

It can take anywhere from a few days to at least amonth to receive information from your program. They may not even have the exact dates for orientation pinned down yet (I don't know when ours are for next year, as it seems to change each year).

Why don't you call the PD's office there and check with them?
