Both are county programs with similar patient populations. It seems that Harbor has historically been a "stronger" program, but USC has a new PD and a new hospital and seems to be on the rise. I'm really stuck here. I know it comes down to individual preference, but would anyone care to help me out and share which program they would prefer to train at?

I would vote for USC--Drs Pato are awesome and they growing so fast and Dr Pato wants to welcome new people with new ideas--I just think it's an exceptional place to be, especially right now.

I interviewed at both places and personally I would give the edge to USC, although I quite liked Harbor too and I think you would be happy at both places.

Good Luck!
