I agree with Luck that yes, it is obviously easier to gain acceptance to a Carribbean Medical School, however that does not change the rigor of the actual cirriculum itself. A medical cirriculum at any school will challenge any individual. Everyone enters medical school with one goal in mind and that is to acheive the MD (or DO). Just because these people are gaining a so called "easy acceptance", I dont feel that it gives anyone the right to discredit them or belittle them. Afterall when Med School is over and you are placed within a residency program, all that actually matters is the M.D after your name. Nobody cares about where you went to med school or what your board score was. All that matters is that you are a competent physician that genuinely cares about the well being of his/her patients. So Luck I am just responding to your statement about Carribbean Medical schools being a joke. That is far from the truth, I have many friends who are within competetive residency programs in the US and are Carib grads. Its not an easy way out or a "joke" its simply an alternative to acheive a common goal, the MD.

No, no, no,....you got it all "wrong". Ross, St. Georges, AUC........ are "Diploma Mills", MILLS I tells ya!!!!!. Please do not "argue" with those who "know all about the Caribs." It does not matter if they have never been there. They do not have to because they are "smarter" than us all....all....all 🙄
