Having reviewed the many rejection letters I have received in the last few weeks, it is with great regret that I must inform you I am unable to accept your rejection at this time.

This year, after applying to a great many colleges and universities, I received an especially fine crop of rejection letters. Unfortunately, the number of rejections that I can accept is limited.

Just take it easy guys. With only 30 plus candidates to be enrolled in the program, you would have to expect a high rejection rate from Harvard.

Wow. with your stats, I'm surprised they sent out a rejection so early and didn't even give you an interview or hold on to your application for later on in the process. Do you mind sharing what you think ticked them off?

Well harvard sends rejections by letter and calls your phone for an interview, so if you get a letter from harvard, you pretty much know it's a rejection, same as if you get a call from them, you pretty much know it's an interview invite. I think they use emails for communicating other info.

chances of getting accepted to Harvard in any field is always a crapshoot no matter what your stats are. High stats MAY get you an interview, but they get 24+ all the time that i think it's pretty much drawing people out of a hat type of situation. Last year, of the 30+ who enrolled, only 3 are from SDN, that just goes to show, there are many many strong people who are out there. So keep in mind, the competition is fierce. That is not to say you are not competitive, but as a reminder that sdn has limited numbers.

friend, if your predents profile is honest and accurate, i say it's impossible for you to be denied an interview at the very least.

you've done everything short of curing cancer and have beyond phenomenal stats, so don't stress.

Damn, with all these rejections, Harvard seems like a dream for me now with my stats...I thought I may have been competitive, but they're just rejecting amazing stats left and right...it seems like one's PS matters a lot for them...that's the only way for them to know you personally before inviting you for an interview, and it seems like that's their deciding factor...numbers seem like they don't play too much here since they're receiving like all 22+ individuals...I have no more hope for that school, even though I would love to get an interview...ugh! I hate this waiting game...
