I applied to Harvard in July last year. But, I have not heard anything from Harvard. Is this a good sign or a bad sign?

Im not exactly sure how it could be a good sign.

My vote says its a bad sign.

Hi I interviewed at Harvard last month. The Dean we talked to said that they read every application (usually about 1000, this year more) and take a very slow process to interview/accept. They expect to be interviewing through March I believe. I got called about 2 weeks before my interview. I hope this helps.

i haven't heard from Harvard either but it doesn't really matter to me because i've been expecting a rejection letter for a while now so it won't hurt when i actually get it!

Let me tell you something about Harvard which I think is pretty rude. They are known not to send rejection letters. I guess they figure you will eventually get the picture that you weren't accepted, but many people I know just never heard from them at all, despite verifying that the school received all of the application materials. Thus, at this point, I wouldn't be holding onto a lot of hope. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Haha, yeah, Harvard never sent me anything when I listed them on ADSAS. That's ok, though, I never sent them a check for the application fee. I took my 3.9 gpa elsewhere. 😎

Hey, did BU give you a scholarship?

Nope. I was surprised about that, too. Oh well.. it's only $280k. 🙂

i got a rejection letter last week. it was dated jan. 31... weird 😕

I recieved a rejection about 6 weeks ago. I didnt care that much. A lot of very talented and qualified applicants never make it there. I'll be going to SUNY UB and quite frankly, I would still choose it over harvard. Its cheaper and its standard is very high. For the last 2 years, not one student has failed on part 1 or 2 of the boards and there average is above the national. If your into research, I hear Harvard is the place to go though.

good luck to all !!!!!

so i called Harvard just now and they said my application is complete and still under review.. is that possible or did they already mail out the rejection letter but did not want to reject me on the phone?!
