Hey, I just got my second "application complete email" from harvard on friday saying they will now start reviewing my application. Did anyone else recieve two of these? Why would the send this out twice? Has anyone else heard anything worth some importance from them?

Hey this might not be relevant to Harvard, but I got two "application is complete" emails from Louisville so I called them and asked what it meant. They said they would look into it...10 minutes later I got an email inviting me to an interview. Hopefully the same happens for you. Maybe call them tomorrow.

ha my bad. i meant 10 minutes later they rejected me.

Maybe they lost your app in their system and now it's found. It reminds me of a Penn dental student I met who told me Harvard was the only school that never gave him a final verdict (rejection letter/email) at the end of the app cycle. Now I know what he meant when he said he always wondered what happened to his app at Harvard. Anyways, at least it can be reviewed now unless they lose it again.

I had a buddy who applied two years ago to Columbia business school. Months passed by without any word so one day in mid-April, he jumped in his car and drove up unannounced all the day from Baltimore to the admissions office to reaffirm his interest in the school. He left Columbia feeling good with vibes that admissions was impressed since he was well received. The next day he received a rejection email. Cold.
