Hi every one,
You can take it as many times as you want, but you have to show a proof of being an applicant. They want letters from schools of your choice saying that they want you to retake the DAT, simply get a letter from ADSAS saying you are an applicant. Or advisor. I think most people woun't take it after the third time, I know, I wouldn't...
The reason for the rule is that some organizations used to send some one to take the test every 3 months and then they would come up supposedly with the "Best preparation material" for sale, and when students thought ohh yes there was a couple questions in real DAT from that source, they would buy it. So for ADA it is just a matter of business thing, or how to eliminate unwanted leak of questions.
So having students to show valid material which shows they are an applicant is the only thing they want you to do after the third time. So no you don't need to be ill or anything to be allowed to take it. You know that by law they can't prevent people from taking it as many time as they want b/c it is a discrimination.
But I want to know if anyone took it for the third time?
