Has anybody heard from GHSU???

Waiting. . . Is anyone thinking about calling? I can't stand it!!!
 
Maybe they are just going to send letters and not make any phone calls

I think some one asked about this at my interview and Dr. Hanes said that they will call some people and i believe she did say starting Dec 1st, but maybe they changed their mind and decided not to call...who knows :/ this suspense is killing me🙁
 
Fyi to relax your nerves...apparently they only called about 20% of the class that they have for sure decided on. They will be making decisions and calls for the next few weeks. A friend of mine called and was told this.
 
I'm a freshman now at GHSU... Last year I got my call on Dec 7th (happiest day ever!).... I know that you guys are anxious but hang in there!! and I don't think they call everybody..... 🙄
 
Heliconia, do you remember when you interviewed before getting that call on Dec. 7?

No news today either... anyone else?
 
NADA , think its safe to say, wait for the certified mail which in my case will probably be the thin envelope vs the acceptance package with the paperwork, but no surprise there. At least I got an interview!
 
Glad we are all in the same boat. No news from GHSU. I interviewed back in late september. Good luck to everyone! It's the weekend, so let's all try to relax....and cheer on the dawgs at the dome.
 
Ahhh this is unbearable, of course its during finals week too.
 
I called them today and the secretary told me that im still under review. Not sure what that means

That is probably your technical status. If I check my status on their website it says the same thing.

edit: its says "Ready for Review"

I interviewed pretty early... August something... GOOD LUCK!!!
 
I interviewed pretty late, so I don't think that matters too much. What matters right now is that you try to not let the anxiety get to you. Focus on finals, and really enjoy your last year of undergrad. You guys are awesome and if you keep striving for what you want, you will get it I promise! And just as a word of advice, I'm not so sure if calling is the best approach to find out about acceptances. You need to keep in mind that you're not the only person who has called and if someone in the admissions office is having a bad day I don't want to be that person to annoy them...

Yea, Its a good thing I got finals to take my mind off of it... almost
 
Has GHSU finished making decisions? I know they had that big meeting yesterday where they were trying hard to finish up and not have to meet again next week. 😕
 
Not sure if they are finished but the decisions are being made and some people recieved phone calls yesterday but appears not everyone accepted will get a call so all you can do is wait on the snail mail really.

Got accepted back in December. Ms. Perry called me in the morning one week day. Good luck with all who are anticipating.
