Has anyone heard from SUNY Upstate that interviewed in early October?

I interviewed at SUNY Upstate on October 8th. I've seen a couple people on SDN that were interviewed on that day or around that time. Have you heard any news yet? I know they call for acceptances and send letters for waitlists and rejections. Thanks for letting me know!

Hmm... that's odd. They told me they only did interviews on Monday's and Wednesday's. Did you apply regular MD? If so, are you sure it was on the 7th? I'm sorry for asking such a silly question because I'm sure you know when you were interviewed, but I'm just going on what they told me. Thanks a lot for posting though!

I cant speak for premed 1218 but Monday Oct. 6th was Yom Kippur, so I'm sure they adjusted their interview schedule to Tuesday for that week... but they usually interview on Mon or Wed only.

Anyway congrats to those accepted (premed1218) and good luck to everyone else!

Opps.. I got confused. I did 3 interviews consecutively that week. I interviewed for Upstate on the 6th on Yom Kippur. It was funny because we were told that we could sit in on some classes during our down time, but there was none...so all the interviewees just hung out together until our tour. I have to say that the people at Upstate are awesome. Good luck to everyone. Sorry for the incorrect info.

Hey, you have to remember that you were interviewed EARLY. They really liked you on paper, so you probably didn't get rejected (they may just be behind in paperwork). I hope I'm right, but if for some reason you weren't accepted, then they probably put you on a waitlist. I've heard that the SUNY schools go through a large part of their waitlists, so hang in there! I know what a waitlist feels like (Buffalo). Good luck to you! 🙂
