how many of you out there heard nothing from tulane?

i applied there last year and was promptly rejected...around octoberish

i took the august mcat; perhaps that is delaying things...

just wanted to know how many others out there haven't heard shizzle from the school yet; i emailed them and they said that my app is complete and i'll get something in the mail once a decision is made

I haven't heard anything yet, either, though I applied close to the deadline. Hoping that no news is good news, though I don't know...

Haven't heard a thing myself. My app was complete in October....I called them a few weeks ago, and a very rude woman told me they had made no decision regarding an interview or rejection. BTW my stats are way above Tulane's average, and I'm a Louisianan, so I don't understand at all why I haven't heard a thing. Maybe the whole "crapshoot" theory is really true. Good luck to you!

They were my first rejection back in September. When I saw the thin envelope I thought it was an interview. 🙄

you might want to call them. i too took the august mcat and when i called them they told me they haven't received my scores yet. wtf? this is in january. so i had to fax it to them.

I was complete somewhere around the end of September/beginning of October. I just got an interview invite a couple of days ago after several months of silence so it seems there are in fact people working in the admissions office.

Yea. It happened to me with Albany also. The thing is, most of my interview invites came in thin envelopes so I would get happy to see one.

Tulane's invite also comes in a thin envelope.

I have a friend that is doing UG @ Tulane, and he found out he was accepted into their med school already: i think in late Nov. or Dec....but I dont think he wants to live in 'Nawlins" anymore...

I also took the aug mcat, completed file in october. Haven't heard a thing. I am thinking about calling them sometimes next week.
