I was researching jobs and I was wondering if anyone has heard of a clinical research associate (CRA) position.

I read that they are in charge of making sure sites chosen for clinical trials are run effectively but I am not sure if this is a type of job meant for a pharm. d.

I am not sure how much they make and I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little bit about their work or similar jobs.

Does anyone else know of any other entry level industry "job titles" that anyone can openly apply for?

I am a Clinical Research Associate at present. I work with MDs to screen, consent and enroll patients onto clinical trials. I work to ensure that the research protocol is followed alongside the healthcare team and submit a LOT of data for patients on active treatment and in follow-up. I have a bachelor's degree, but my Project Manager does not even have an associate's degree. So yes, a PharmD is overqualified. Maybe you could be an investigational drug pharmacist?
