I just wanted to know out of all you students who have gotten accepted to optometry schools. Have you put in deposits to more than one school?
Has anyone put in a deposit in more than one school

Hello:
When I applied two years ago, I put down a deposit at both SUNY and SCCO. I was granted an extension to turn in my deposit at ICO or else I would have probably put one down there.
When I gave up my seat at SUNY in January, they refunded my entire deposit. Since I turned down SCCO in the summer, I was not given back any of my deposit (which I perfectly understand).
Is that what you needed to know? Im unsure from your post if that is what you were looking for. 🙂

I've been to interviews with other students who have made multiple deposits. I know I would have, but I just couldnt afford it. For me it was probably best that I didnt. It was hard enough to let certain schools go, it would have been even harder trying to decide now.
One good piece of info that a doctor told me was that it's more stressful for people who sit on the fence and cant decide, then for people to make the wrong choice. Those choices that are really important, like do or die decisions; those are pretty black and white for people. Its the little things that people get so worked up about. Basically optometry school is optometry school were ever you go.
