Has SDN ever done a Feature Article on a DO?

Just curious. Every couple of weeks they interview a new physician, or other health care provider (DPM, OD, Aud.D). In my time here I don't think I've noticed that they have interviewed an Osteopathic Physician. Please let me know if I'm wrong, I searched and found about 8+ interviewed MD's and 0 interviewed DO's.

This is especially surprising to me considering the founder of SDN himself was a DO. I wonder if he has anything to do with the site anymore, but obviously I understand he probably has little to do with who is interviewed. I'm not trying to build a conspiracy or anything, it was just an observation.

MD or DO, they're all physicians so the overall interview should not be drastically different... unless maybe you're looking for a DO who does OMM/NMM?

The overall percentage of MD: DO articles may even represent the population ratio of US MD: DO's if you think about it.

Yes, I understand that MD's and DO's are both physicians, thank you.

My underlying curiosity is that SDN is a site that serves in an educational manner for "Student Doctors" and those pursuing a career in the health field. With that in mind I would anticipate them being more engaged getting information from both MD's and DO's in addition to other allied health professionals. It's an easy way to introduce the profession to those that are unaware of it and, gasp, educate them.

I noted that in the original post. I inadvertently created an MD vs DO thread, but I'm honestly curious why the score is so lopsided in these interviews. 😴
