Let's say you have a low gpa and MCAT and you didn't get an invite for:
a) secondary
b) interview
...but, later in the cycle (say in September) you indicate that you will be retaking in Sept.
Would the school go back to your file and re-evaluate you based on your new score, or is it game over simply because you did not indicate that you will be retaking.
This seems trivial but I'm just trying to see what would be a 'better' move. Indicating that you will be retaking in September NOW, will probably mean that they won't look at your app until they see the new score. But if the rest of your app is 'ok', just hope that you will get an interview and let them know your updated score later in the cycle?
Just wondering what someone in this situation has done, or will do if they were in this person's shoe.
