I just remembered a question on the step 1 exam I took yesterday about pharmacotherapy for OCD. I remember I was stuck between two answers, and I now know I chose the wrong answer. I keep thinking that I could have answered it right, since it wasn't purely "hard" nor were there complex concepts involved. If I got this kind of question wrong, who knows what other kinds of questions I got wrong?

Oh well, there is no point to thinking about this now. But if I do worse than I hoped, I can always think back and ask "what if I got that one question right?"

I wish I could have my memory of the step 1 exam erased from my mind with those deneuralizers from Men in Black.

Its ok, I am haunted by a question where I KNEW THE ANSWER BUT CLICKED ON THE CHOICE BELOW IT.

I was just thinking of that question the other day and then a flash image of the screen appeared in my memory and I realized that OMG I somehow didn't actually click on the button for the answer choice that I wanted to select and instead chose a different answer. I don't know how that happened but I was so zoned out by that time of day that I guess anything could have happened.

You'll never know

It wouldn't have impacted your score in any meaningful way, either way

Youll be over it in about 2 days after getting that envelope / email. Hello real patients!

i can empathize. I had a similar pharm question, regarding treatment of pulmonary hypertension and was stuck. i was pissed bc i knew I had known the answer at some point during prep. I ended up refusing to look it up afterwards because i didn't want to find out I was wrong on what was a very straightforward question. And then (here's where i'm starting to think i'm insane), I had a nightmare about the question a week and a half after Step and had to look up the answer at 4am. Ugh. Ef this exam
