I have heard of some people that have already received contact from their programs... I haven't heard anything yet, I was wondering how many people were in my boat.... ?

My wife is anxious to have some insight into where we are moving and looks forward to getting some advice from the residents already living there.... (i.e. what cellular phone provider is the best, etc.)

I have but it's because I matched at my home program. They were nice enough to send EVERYONE to our match ceremony: chair, PD, residents. 🙂

No formal paperwork or anything yet via email/snail mail.

One of my friends actually received her scheduling packet via email already. She said it dulled the joy of Match Day upon seeing 8 floor months planned. 🙂

I remember getting a letter about a week after the match and then a large packet with bunch of forms to fill a week or 2 after that.

You're matched now. I don't see what the harm would be as long as your email is reasonable. (i.e. an email containing 15 questions in bulleted form might be over the top 😛)
