University of Arizona called me today, and scheduled my interview on the spot...I'm excited about that! Great program!

But still waiting on the UC's....when will the notices ever come?!

Thanks! Yea, I definitely was expecting a notice via mail...but maybe the applicant pool is so high, easier to call, no idea...

be attentive. ucsf sends their interview invitation in a nondescript little envelope (as well as their acceptance letter.) I didn't open it for five days, bc i thought it was a bill for my dr appts at the urgent care clinic. 🙄

Generally, how long after receiving your application does it take for a school to send you an interview invitation. I just wanted an average ballpark figuire!

Last year, I turned in all of my applications on Oct. 22 and received interview invitation on the following approximate dates:

UCSD (Dec. 20)
Western (Dec. 20)
UCSF (Dec. 27)
USC (Jan. 8)
UOP (Jan. 14)

It might take longer this year due to the significant increase of application. I hope this helps.

I'm pretty excited...just received an invite from UCSF! Now I gotta read UCSFPharmgirl's post backwards and forwards...definitely made this Xmas a lot happier...

Me too. Got letters from both schools today. Funny that it took the UCSF one 4 days to get to me within SF, while the UCSD one got here in 2 days. Gotta love the post office... at least they brought good news.

Post office is allllll screwed up....I haven't received anything from UCSD yet...we'll see what goes on with that! good luck to all of ya.....the help of everyone here is going to make the process a lot easier and not as nerve wrecking.

UCSD came tonight for me, too, man...I'm very much psyched about it...I feel strongly for both programs....I was very happy about UCSD...I have visited there and talked with people in the area, I think it's an awesome school, same with UCSF....but I;m just happy I got an interview with both! We'll see what happens from there
