So I just took the ADA practice DAT. My scores are BIO: 21 CHE: 20 OC: 25 The organic chem section seemed really easy for me. I havent taken the other parts yet. Ill post them as soon as I'm done. How did you you guys score on the ADA practice DAT compared the the real test?

there is a paid version for $27 $8 dollar shipping $11 for express shipping. so pretty much $40. I haven't taken the DAT yet so I don't know how close it is to the real deal.

I found the link to it somewhere on the forum so search for it and you'll be able to get the order form if you want to order it. Depending on when your test is you might consider getting it. However, it takes a few days for it to get to you because you have to send out the order form along with money order. I got it a week after I sent out the order form.

I feel the real DAT is just a bit harder than the sample DAT. On the 2007 sample DAT, I scored 22 or 23 on bio, 28 on chem, and 25ish on orgo. you can check my previous post. On the real DAT, I got 23 bio, 26 chem, and 24 orgo. So, not big difference in my opinion. I did feel there were more calculations on the chem section tho. Good luck, you are in good shape.

Hi,

I have just taken web based Ada practice test. It shows how many correct answers I got. But, it doesn't show my points from each section, does anyone know how to check them?

Thanks

Use the scoring chart of 2007 exam or same chart is given in Kaplan.

Both 2007 and 2009 are the same difficulty due to the standard scoring. Some people find the 2009 exam more difficult in chemistry because it focuses more on solutions and liquids and almost none on easy stoichiometry, opposite of 2007. But the grading scale is adjusted for this, as it is on all DAT exams. The scores you get on these will be most predicative of your real test day scores.

In short, you're ready to conquer the DAT (science at least)

The online 2009 test will give you your raw scores (e.g. 38/40 for BIO) and then you can use the 2007 conversion chart to check your scaled score. You can begin the online version of the test right after you purchase it.

There seems to be some kind of practice test on the Prometric website, is that the ADA practice test everyone is taking about? Don't you just do that online?
