I haven't taken my MCAT yet but I'm taking it this Thursday. I've studied a lot and have received above 30 on my practice tests. I finished my application today, but I'm not sure if I should apply to all 25 schools on my list right now because I don't know for sure I am going to have a competitive score. Should I apply to a maybe 20 or 10 right now just so I my application can be verified?

I don't want to wait because my application will then end up getting to the schools in September or end of August. Thoughts?

The general advice on this forum is to add only one school to your app and submit it so that you can get verified. After you get your score back, and depends on how high it is, you can decide how many more schools and which schools you want to add to your app.

Yep. All you need is one school to get the verification process started. After you get your score back, add the schools you want to apply to (your list will probably change depending on what your score actually is) and you're set. This helps you be sure to avoid applying to a bunch of schools that you have little chance getting into if you (knock on wood) butchered your mcat.

Good luck

Say you submit and then you get your score and it's not so hot. Can you go back and edit your application to indicate that you plan to re-take?
