Having submitted in July 12th, what can I expect in terms of timeframe?

From prior experiences, I was wondering if anyone can let me know when to expect interviews, and about when I will most likely get an acceptance if things work out well (before Christmas hopefully?)~


I know that it varies drastically in terms of MONTHS and not weeks, but a ballpark range would be very helpful

Before Christmas is more likely; after Christmas is less likely for interview invites. Acceptances depend on the policy of the school, but usually you will receive information of your status within a month (two at the outside) of interviewing. Beyond that, I'm not willing to hazard any estimates.

You will likely be verified by early-to-mid August. If you have your letters of recommendation in, you can be complete at most schools by late August (or earlier if you are on the ball). This means you'll probably be first seeing interview invites around late September to October. I think an acceptance before Christmas is reasonable, if you are a competitive applicant.


Of course, this could be totally wrong. 😀
