Apparently the first warm blooded fish in existence was recently discovered. Link: http://earthsky.org/earth/opah-the-first-truly-warm-blooded-fish

So now I am curious, what do you think is the time frame between a discovery such as this and the point that this latest information shows up on the test?

For example, if on Tuesday I see a question that asks, Which of these is exclusively ectothermic?

A: Fish
B: Marsupials
C: Mammals
D: Avian
E: None of the Above

Even knowing that fish are ectothermic, would this latest information be reflected in DAT testing so soon? The above question is one I just made up by the way

I thought that article was a little miss leading. The fish generates heat from its fin to keep it 5 degree or so warmer than its environment giving it a competitive edge. It's hardly endothermic as to the extent of maintaining a body temp roughly 98.6F / 37C under all conditions.

I would hate to get a question like this, but if tomorrow my test gives me this question I'd go with A.
