Talking about sound...i have in mind buying one of those big headphone that is supposed to isolate you from the noise around you..
I study a lot in coffee shops..and i am thinking about one..is anybody using one ?..if so, does it really work and what brand? I have in mind Sony...

( Twester, i am quoting this here b/c i did not want to disturb the nature of the thread about "Dreams after pharmacy school"...your sound system reminded of something i had in mind during school year and never really had the time to shop around for 😉 )

I use Sennheiser HD 750. They are huge, but the sound range is awesome. The model I have are used in classical music recording studios. I don't hear anything else when they are on, but I'm a little deaf.

I use the Sony MDR-V600s. They're kind of midline headphones. They're big, but not huge and can be folded up somewhat. I've been very happy with them.
