I just wanted to post to let people know to VERY CAREFULLY check over their AADSAS gpa calculation. I go to Penn State and have a 3.55, and after my freshman summer I took 2 courses, a math course at a county college (3 credits) and the first gen chem lab at rutgers (1 credit) my total gpa calculation came out to be a 3.48 and I was pissed because I have a 3.55 and worked hard for it! haha but anyways I was looking over how this could possibly happen and it was because they ENTERED IN MY CREDIT HOURS WRONG for my time at rutgers it was supposed to be 1 credit hour and they had it as 13.33 credit hours so that B+ was weighted wayyy more heavily than it should have been. I called and they recognized their mistake and are fixing it but the schools I applied to have all received my applications weeks ago and am pissed if they made a judgement based off my gpa already! SO HEADS UP everyone just really triple check your gpa calculations to make sure everything is correct!

My science GPA went up on aadsas, so I'm not complaining. Hope others check just like you did.

In my case, the AADSAS made a brutal mistake of mistyping my grade.
They accidentally put "No Grade" for one of my courses in which I received a grade.
Even though my grade went up (because it was the course that I did poorly) because of this mistake, I corrected it because it was one of the prerequisites!
So, please check your addsas calculation carefully. Also, REVIEW THE ACTUAL APPLICATION THAT IS MAILED TO EACH SCHOOL CAREFULLY.
The aadsas tends to make a correction and does not notify you until you find out.
🙁

I have three withdraw classes my freshman year. My question is in regards to aadsas. They place a 'none' as a grade which I understand why but this effects my gpa significantly. Is there anyway around this? Assumimg not, do you think schools go out if there way and calculate their own separate gpa for a student?

there should be a "withdraw" option when input your grades....just scroll down on the grade input menu.
a withdraw should not be calculated in you gpa
