I’m joining the Mephis Va as a neuropsychology psychology intern member for the upcoming academic year. I have heard from different cohort members and peer members that it is good for someone who is neuron geriatric and health. However some people have told me that is not the case. I want to do geriatrics neuron and implicate cultural diversity in rehab in neuron. Can someone please advise me? Best Regards.

Would recommend you remove the name of the site immediately.

Can't speak to the specific site, but regarding the above advice to remove the site name, this is because it is considered rather disrespectful to reneg on an internship committment that you have made (not to mention considering doing so publicly). If a supervisor at that site were to see you posting publicly on the internet about the internship and whether it is a good fit for your career goals (again, after you have already accepted the position), it would reflect poorly on you.

This is especially true because a lot of sites might only have 1 or 2 neuropsych interns. It would be pretty easy to identify you in real life. You could also post about it more generally rather than stating that you have matched there and in what track, though I think you could get pretty good generic advice about your situation without naming the site.

Ideally, you would have considered those questions prior to ranking them and accepting the position. If you're starting internship this summer, it's a little late to be considering whether this site is a good fit for your goals and interests. Ultimately, I think at this point you have to start thinking about how you can optimize your experience there to fit your needs and goals. No internship is perfect. The first step I would recommend is to discuss your goals and interests with the training director.
