Hey there,

So I interviewed early December (post) @ MUSC. It's been over a month now and have heard nothing. Anyone have any ideas on if they take over a month for this school in particular or timelines? Also is it a bad idea to call/email to show curiosity (I've seen it help others on here, but that was on getting interviews). I'm so anxious and don't want to just sit back since it's my state school... Thank you in advance.

Send a letter of intent. Others have done it, and shortly thereafter, received an acceptance.

I posted on here about my post dec interview as well. It took them a month to tell me I was accepted! So good news may be on your way -Remain hopeful. Be sure to send any new/meaningful/significant updates to them. I had contacted my post dec interview politely asking when I'll hear back, it clearly did no harm! I don't think they mind too much if people contact them after over a month.

Good luck!

So you think it's best to email instead of call? Also is it best to send to the people who interviewed or send to the admission officer?

Congrats! What did you say exactly? If you want to PM me that would be great. I just don't want to come off as demanding.

Good question! The admissions officer should be enough, but if you want to play it safe, you can send to all of them and cc either the adcom or the people that interviewed you. You could send separate ones tailored to each which would show that you're going above and beyond in your intent to matriculate with them.

There's no right or wrong answer. These are all opinions and suggestions. Go with your gut.
