Heart Failure Fellowship Application Cycle 2017

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Hey there everyone in the ERAS 2017 application year (aka 2019 start date). A lot of us east coast/south folks ran into each other this season and appreciated how confusing and limited the available information has been for this season, especially with the offer dates and what program x,y or z is doing or saying. Some of the previous posts on this site were like 2008 or older. Some of us, thought it was a good idea to have a group chat or forum of some sort for feedback, advise, rumors etc. Any thoughts on what venue? Stick with SDN, or do like a groupme group, what'sapp group, google hangouts, Facebook messenger or good 'ole email chain? I personally am down for any venue, won't mind starting and would like to join up on if something has already been started by mid-west/west coast guys. No pressure to participate. One way or another it would be a good networking tool for each other since the community seems so small. Thoughts? Either respond to this post or private message me. Not the best idea to leave names, phones numbers or emails on the SDN posts. Cheers and good luck.

As someone who applied last year, I think this is a good idea to help clarify the process.

Supposedly there is a gentleman's agreement between programs in terms of when offers can be made this year, but I'm not sure if all programs are abiding by this.
