Hi Henna
I wanted some information on the patient pool at UCSF. do you get enough patients at UCSF to carry out various clinical procedures?
Are you satisfied with the number of patients that you get to treat?
One more question Are you planing to practice in CA?
I hope i am not bothering you with too many qs. i am new to this forum and also realtively unaware of all these dental admissions. Any help from any of the forum members on the above mentioned questions will be highly appreciated

Pt pool ..........It's mostly welfare pt's. Not great but then it depends on your luck too, some ppl get lots of interesting cases others don't. Welfare has also cut down the budget for welfare ( thnx to our governor), but I do believe we have a great pt pool compared to many other schools (or so I've heard and I think its true too ). We start clinics in the 2nd quarter of the program so you do get a lot of clinical exposure.

Yes, I am. Now I am forced to turn down pt's as I don't have anymore time available in my schedule.

Yes, I am.

Thank you so much Henna. you have really answereda lot of my queries. i really appreciate your help.
well one last question, if i do my dds from CA, would I have any problems clearing the north eastern board?
i am sure i will have lot more qs if i get accepted at ucsf. i have moved upto no 1 in wait list. i am really wanting to study at ucsf.

Nerbs is pretty easy compared to cali boards.
