I want to know do we need to apply to any university before applying for NBDE part 1 or we can directly register with the test because I m from India and I m really confused regarding the visa i.e. do the embassy require us to be registered with any university or they will directly accept me through my NBDE registration.

U don't need to apply to any college....U can directly apply to NBDE and take the hallticket with you to embassy and show them that u are attending an exam there , although u will also have to tell them where u are going to stay and who will take care of your expenses, they will grant u visitor B1/B2 visa

Could u plz let me know something about DAT.... is this a separate test from NBdE and do I need to give this also.

As far as I know DAT is examination that needs to be given by US students for entering into dental college for 4 years of school...

can u please help me for an another ques..... regarding embassy interview

I m from India and I am appearing for embassy interview next week..... I have written in my application that I m appearing for nbde part 1 nd applied for B1 visa......my question is as follows.....

most probably they will be asking me WHY I m applying for studying in US rather than India..... I need to give a strong answer
secondly, they will be asking would u like to come back to India after completing ur course or u would like to stay in US.....

please help.....

I got some trouble while filling my ds 160 form..... I clicked on category B1/B2(bussiness/pleasure) by mistake on my embassy form..... instead of only B1......does it make difference or will it create any issue ..... plz help!!!!
