Help: 1 week of studying left

Hi all, quick question.
I have 8 more days to study for step 1.
I still have to go over neuro, embryo, gross, and cell. In addition I have about 1400 q's left to do on my USMLE world qbank.
So, how should I use my remaining time:
- Review first aid w/ annotations
- Hit the qbank hard
- or finish remaining subjects, and review first aid with remaining time.
Any help appreciated.

This is all about personal preference and how you study best. It also depends on what you have done so far. A lot of people would have gotten embryo out of the way early because it is too low yield to focus on when time is so precious. I guess with 8 days and having gotten through so little of World, I probably would spend just one day to read through and study those 4 sections of FA you have saved, and then spend the remaining week crunching through the questions, carefully reading the explanations. But again, it depends how you learn best. Not sure other people's approaches will actually be useful to you.

Honestly, ...8 days and 4 subjects to review! well damage is done and if u cant postpone, i would go over those 4 SUBJECTS inthe qbank and read all the explainations/concepts. than the last 3 days read through entire FA again. my exam was neuro heavy and im glad i didnt just read through FA for that it wouldnot have helped! concepts i think will get u through, pure recall really is only about 15 percent of test. well thats how i felt at least. good luck. To summarize : what i would do.....Hit those questions HARD!! goodluck, ..i get my results next week hopefully then i will be more qualififed to answer questions! 🙂
