Looking for any advice/idea of my chances now that I have submitted my primary app as of July 24th. I'm worried that submitting my application this late is going to really hurt my chances of being accepted. Any advice other than just pre-writing my secondaries?

Apply broadly (20+ schools) including plenty of safeties, pre-write your secondaries, get your personal statement revised and edited, etc...
