I have to write a cause/effect paper that deals with an issue going on in our career (or future career, in my case).

What are some issues going on in Optometry that I can get a decent amount of info on for my paper? Any help at all would be highly appreciated. 🙂

Hey.. here is one issue I know of is the fact that the AOA has passed that optometrists need to be board certified now. This is a problem for those who are later in their years and a few years shy of retiring. My father being one case. He thinks that some insurances may demand him to be board certified and he doesnt know if it is necessary to do it when he is going to retire in a few years. Go to the AOA website for stuff on the new board certification.
