sorry about posting this again but i really need an answer to this. I received a D for my calc II class the first time around, I am planning on retaking it over this summer, but the cycle opens up tomorrow and I'm not sure how this will affect my application. Since schools don't accept D, will they see my application as incomplete? Will they look at my application at all? Or will they wait until I send in the updated transcript in November?

Ds suck. But I think it's pre-reqs they're worried about. Maybe I'm way off, but not many schools have 2 calc courses as a prerequisite. And I haven't really heard of a blanket rule of nothing under a C. That's optimal, of course.

It may help that they will see it in your planned courses.

Thanks for the reply. For the planning courses, how do we put those info into the application? Do I just write it down or do I need to show proof of class registration?

For each school you enter, you then enter a 'session' (semester/quarter). For each session, you indicate if it's Completed or Planned/In Progress and then enter courses for that session. Very tedious.

They should be on your transcript if you're registered. Check that first.

Your fine...the C rule only applies for pre-reqs! Just out down your motives to retake it for the summer and they will see.

just to reassure you.. you are fine.
