applying this upcoming cycle to tmdsas and amcas! i don't really understand when you should take preview and casper. are they considered part of your primary and does the date by which you take them impact when your primary is considered complete by? i want to submit both my apps on the day they open. would i register for the exams now, take them late april/early may, and have the scores sent by app time? or do people take them after primary if it doesn't impact when you can get the primary processed by?

They are considered supplemental items and you can submit the primary without them.
A good time to do those tests if needed is during the waiting period while TMDSAS or AMCAS are verifying your application

The results of CASPer are sent directly to the medical schools and TMDSAS and AMCAS do not act as a middleman for this test
