Just got my official transcript after graduation. At the bottom, it lists the AP classes I took in high school and the number of semester credits (either 4 credits or 8 credits) that I received. There's no grades or AP exam scores, just the credit hours. I also don't know what semester or year it technically falls under since I wasn't even in college, and I was admitted with that credit. How should I enter this on AADSAS?? I want to submit first thing Monday, and AADSAS is closed over the weekend, so I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

Edit:
Also, in front of each course & course number, it lists which school I took it in. For example:
CAS BI101 Biology 1 X credits X grade
Should I include the 3-letter school abbreviation under "course prefix and number"?

Sorry for all the questions! I just want to get it right so it takes less time to verify.

I was under the impression that AP credits didnt need to be listed

I thought we had to list everything on our transcripts, and there's a sentence in the instructions about AP credit, but it's not very helpful. It just says to indicate if we received AP credit, but doesn't give any details about how to enter it.

First off, awesome user name.

Second, after researching this, it looks like we should add the AP classes under our first semester of college/ or a separate session, and give it a grade of P.

You know how there are two separate entires for course name and course prefix and number, what do you put into each of those for ap classes??

I think you might be right about entering it under the first semester of college. Would you give a grade of P, Credit, or No Grade?

Yeah, I'm not sure about that either. Mine are listed like:
AP - US History
So I guess "AP" would be the course number.

EDIT: Nmind! I misread the original post. I thought y'all had also taken AP exams. My bad!

I'm not sure I understand. I did take AP exams. I'm just saying my AP exam scores or the grades I got in my AP classes aren't listed on my transcript - only the number of credit hours I received are listed. That's why I'm not sure how to enter them since a lot of the information AADSAS asks for each course isn't listed for my AP credits.

Anyways, I'll just call AADSAS tomorrow and hopefully figure it out.

I called AADSAS and asked about this if anyone else is wondering about AP credits.

First, I was told to enter APs under my first semester of college.

Depending on how the classes are reported on your transcript, you may have a prefix/course# to enter, or you might be able to just write N/A. If there's some prefix-type designation that's kind of analogous to the way the course numbers for your college classes are listed, then you can put that under prefix. If there isn't anything, or if it looks like it's part of the class title, then you can put N/A under prefix. I hope that makes sense.

Lastly, I was told to mark "credit" as my grade, and then, obviously, enter the number of credits I received. Also don't forget to mark AP/CLEP under "special designations."

Don't stress over it. My transcripts were verified by AADSAS last week and even though I have like 20 AP credits I didn't list or mention any of them. In the end I doubt the dental schools care about AP credits as long as their school's pre-req's are met.

soo for example it says this on my unofficial transcript

AP BI3 Biol Sc3
Advanced Placement Credit
8.00 P SP06 LD
BILD 10
BILD APC

i am assuming the title is: Biol Sc3 Advanced Placement Credit
but is the prefix simply Bl3 or AP Bl3?
